Yeah, frick that. The missing $4 million in revenue share next year would be worse than having to pay the penalty. He’d wind up costing $12 million + for 1 season. No thanks.

This all seems like some BS. Why did it take until after he recommitted to release this readily available information? Why didn’t they just lead with that lol. Not buying all this. Never heard of that in any of these “contacts” and we try to poach a QB and all the sudden they have a clause that forces another team to pay the price of the contract. Hmmm

There's clearly a media narrative against LSU going on, there have been many firsts this coaching cycle since Lane decided to go to LSU
