LSU shot up the portal rankings REALLY quickly.

Compare that to say, Clemson. They rank 44th.

Depends on the QB? If we get Williams, absolutely as I believe LSU is a playoff contender in year one with him at QB.
If it’s someone else like the Elon QB, we will see.

Everyone keep in mind portal rankings are only counting incoming transfers.
It’s not a net portal rating that accounts for out going.

At this point we have not signed any players in the positions we need to even play a game. The rankings don’t address position needs. If holes in the roster were part of the analysis the rankings would be flipped.

Yes with an extremely incompetent coaching staff.
This year we actually have a real coaching staff that can actually coach and develop players. Excited to see what Lane and this staff can do with this talent.

We are 23rd on On3. But our 13 additions so far average a higher player score than our 30 losses.

I don't think the Lane era is gonna be anything like the BK era but lets ground ourselves and realize these rankings are worthless.
