Please. Sometimes those blitzes baker does can be effective but other times he sells out too often and the other team has a massive chunk play

That’s one way to help protect against mobile QBs. You can keep more guys in coverage, and use 1 or two to spy the QB.

Do either of these guys project to be plus pass rushers? Qua got hurt early and barely played and Smith is a big bodied guy, he had 2.5 sacks.
We need an edge who is a legit finisher as a pass rusher. Need a guy who can produce like Swinson in 2024, not just a bunch of bodies.

Gotta sell out when you can’t get home with 4. We desperately needed edge pass rush last year, technically a safety had the most sacks on our team last year.

Blake Baker has had the highest blitz percentage in college football nearly every year going back to Missouri.
