QB1 Watch:
Demond Williams Jr. was heavily linked to LSU following his re-entry to the portal with a no contact tag last night.
- There was a lot of movement around the football ops facility last night, and even at the original time of posting the coaching staff is still at the building with SUVs coming and going.
- Williams Jr. was previously committed to Lane Kiffin when he coached at Ole Miss in 2022. He ultimately committed to Arizona out of high school & followed head coach Jedd Fisch to Washington when he was hired.

- There is speculation that Demond Williams Jr. is currently on campus with members of LSU’s coaching staff, but there hasn’t been a confirmed report at this point.
- Once I know he’s on campus, I will add him to the visitor list for the day.

1. Sam Leavitt sat courtside with head coach Lane Kiffin & Whit Weeks at the men’s basketball game last night.
• Very shortly after that went public, a bombshell transfer portal announcement shook the country:
- Demond Williams Jr. (Ex-Washington QB) announced he was re-entering the portal.
- LSU was immediately linked as the frontrunner to pursue Williams Jr.
- The LSU coaching staff assembled immediately at the football ops facility.

LSU Upcoming Visit Tracker:
1. Ex-UAB WR Iverson Hooks should be coming into town to begin his LSU visit. It will be a two day visit.
- Iverson Hooks visited Louisville's campus on Saturday.
2. Ex-Florida DB Jordan Castell was planning to visit LSU tomorrow but committed to Kentucky today.
- Not surprising as LSU signed Ex-Boise State safety Ty Benefield yesterday.
3. Ex-Elon QB Landen Clark visiting LSU on January 9th.
- Landen Clark visited JMU on Saturday and is visiting North Texas today.
4. Ex-Oklahoma HB Jovantae Barnes will visit LSU. Visit date TBA.
[i] - Jovantae Barnes took a visit to Kentucky on Sunday.
- Also planning to take a visit to Arkansas.
5. Ex-Wisconsin WR Eugene Hilton Jr. will visit LSU next week. Visit date TBA.
- Florida is also in the mix and will likely get a visit from him.
