QB - 2 or 3 (Williams, Clark, and Gulker would be impressive)

WR - 1
OL - 7!! lol

What you guys think?
I think Geralds and Brown will play a ton if not start next year on DL

We have a ways to go
EDIT: Specifically landing OLine obviously but I feel we have some options, high ceiling risks at others. Like QB

Starting to see buzz throughout CFB as more O Linemen are starting to enter the portal. We will fill up our needs.

QBs - Demond Williams & Landen Clark
HB - big name HB who hasn’t yet entered portal (Shea Dixon claim)
WR - Winnie Watkins & Deuce Alexander (Ole Miss)
DL - Damon Wilson (Mizzou EDGE)
CB - Not Sure
Kicker - Evan Noel (Florida)

Gulker isnt a QB, he will be used in an H-Back/TE role here presumably. Still would like two behind Williams (Knock on wood)
We need lineman badly. 7 is bare minimum, I think they’d like to get close to 10 if possible.
Need 1-2 more Edge, maybe another DT
CB depends on how much they like the young guys in that room. You’ve got two good CBs in Pickett/Woodland already

One thing we learned tonight, there will be players that are not in the portal yet that will be in next year’s roster. Some will play on the OL.

That would only put the roster size at about 76. You’ll see a lot more portal guys than that

We can’t go through the season with only 2 scholarship QBs. We have to get 3 QBs in the portal for sure, that or talk MVB into staying as a backup, which I don’t see happening.

This is a great list of needs with a gettable player for pretty much every position. If this does goes down like you want we’re going to be just fine next year. The D will hold it down until the O comes around. By the back end of the season with a little luck we’ll be in a great position for the playoff and a VERY dangerous team. After the debacle of Lane coaching Ole Miss in the playoff this year, God help CFB if we make it next year. Lane will be on a mission.
