Any word on if LSU is working to retain any players?

LSU already has retained some players so that would indicate that they have worked to retain the players that they want.

Ivw said this in multiple post and I know no one had a good run blocing grade but he didn't give up a sack in 8 starts. Considering all the OL openings,he could be an option.

LSU staff met with each player and discussed playing time and NIL value. The door was left open for some to return but many chose to enter the portal instead. For a few players they were told to enter the portal. That happens with every team in college football.
Now remember the other conferences had up to 105 scholarship players the SEC had max. 85 so there will be more portal players outside the SEC- they had more spots to tinker with.

Considering that the OL options in the portal are slim, he is definitely someone I'd take back. He may not be an elite LT, but he has experience at multiple spots and did a decent job compared to the rest of the OL last season.

I think that they did Philly. The main pieces that they wanted to for sure keep at least.
