He's a great blitzer and tackler but he's a DB. He gets lost in coverage too much to make $10M+/yr.

We’ve burned quite a few high picks on the secondary lately. I figured they’d re-sign him or Adebo. And they let him walk last year so they made their choice.

We will bring him back. He’s s good player even with a coverage bust every now and then. He brings physicality to the DB room.

Folks love to shite on Alonte. I think he’s underrated. His big plays are so often overlooked for his few mistakes.
