Our Special Forces are elite. They are the best in the world. I remember the late 70s and the Iran hostage situation. We have made unbelievable advances since then. They are bad arse.

30-40 years ago Venezuela was the richest country in South America. It’s not too far gone and can be revived. Iraq has always been a shithole and will always be a shithole.

Another pretty substantial difference is Iraq last 20 years. Our troops were in and out in under an hour.
It's also difficult to compare when not 1 single troop even needed a band-aid after pulling off what the left is calling WW3.
