And THIS is why they didn’t tell Congress beforehand. Trump explains it brilliantly

"Did you notify Congress in advance?!"

TRUMP: "Congress has a tendency to LEAK. This would NOT be good. If they leaked, it would've been a very different result!"

"We don't want leakers!"

Just like Fordow and the other Iran nuclear sites hit with Midnight Hammer, that 48H notification window can be after action.

They're welcome to sign up for Truth Social and find out when the rest of the world does.

Congress is a banded conglomerate of corrupt losers. Glad he didn’t tell them anything.

Strange how every operation Trump runs is a success, while Joe "the foreign policy guy" fricked up everything he touched

And yet they only want to whine about Trump.

Houthis - defeated
Iran nuclear program - defeated
Maduro - defeated

I understand why he did what he did, but we really should just quietly remove the congressional power to declare war from the Constitution. It’s been toothless for nearly a century.

True. Last declared war was December 1941.

Ill continue to say that we the people need to vote for better congressional representation.

Clutch harder... he apprehended a terrorist dictator and blew up a mausoleum. Get over it.

I'm not thinking Venezuelans are feeling "attacked".

Regardless of whether or not the move against Maduro was legit, you have to agree that Congress is full of people who want to see Trump fail and would not act in a way to allow the mission to be successful.

So you’re good with leaks potentially harming our military and thwarting our mission?

Why don’t y’all ever take accountability? Maybe a “yeah, sucks we have to do that, but, we are scumbags who leak everything”.

You fricks are so pitiful and pathetic.

Many in congress (Mark Kelly comes to mind) would have gladly killed US service members in pursuit of making our president look bad.

Ok, I’ll play. Let’s say he DOES inform Congress. Because nearly half of Congress openly opposes him, someone is going to make a call. Suddenly, Venezuela is ready for the attack. We lose soldiers and Maduro escapes. The leakers take to social media to denounce Trump and beat their chests. They could care less that soldiers died and a criminal has escaped. Their leak has embarrassed OMB, and that is enough for them.

Some want to see Trump fail. SOME truly want Socialism for our country. Some just want to see their name in the news.

According to the War Act of 1973, the President must inform Congress within 48 hours of deploying troops.

This criteria was met. What’s your point, other than OMB?
