ESPN: Ravens, veteran NT John Jenkins agree to contract extension

quote:

A third-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2013, Jenkins went on to sign one-year deals with the Seattle Seahawks (2016), Chicago Bears (2017 and 2020), New York Giants (2018), Miami Dolphins (2019, 2021 and 2022), Las Vegas Raiders (2022 and 2023) and the Ravens (2025).

dude has been on 11 consecutive one year contracts

I honestly had no clue he was still in the league. He was definitely a bust for us, but to last this long in the league (he is the 4th oldest DT in the NFL) has to mean something.

He had good size just didn’t have the base strength to be stout enough against the run, at least during his time with us. Good on him for figuring it out & playing in the league this long
