Deni Avdija reminds me of Peja Stojakovic’.

The guy is an absolute sharp shooter from 3 and he is a good rebounder also. I’d love to see a Zion trade give us a player like him in return.

Actually if he has a real weakness it’s 3 point shooting. He’s the literal opposite of Peja.

Or is it simply that they are both Serbians who played in the NBA. That’s where the similarities stop.

One shot 3’s for fun.. the other drives to the rim for fun.

Peja wished he was as good as Avdija,

I liken Avdija to a smaller version of Lauri Markkanen. Both of their careers took a few years to blossom.

Avdija is really nothing like Peja.

Peja was an almost 7-foot off-ball wing who shot like 43% from three over his career.

Avdija is shorter and plays more on-ball as a passer. And doesn’t shoot in the same stratosphere as Peja did. With that said, Avdija is much better at attacking the rim. He’s a great player,
