f you think the Saints should purposely lose to Atlanta to get an easy schedule next year.... your not a Saints fan. Beating Atlanta is just under winning the Superbowl...

Yea

losers want to lose.

I guarantee you not one player or coach in the Saints team wants to lose this game. Or any game for that matter.

I dont think we'll have to. We have no WRs.

I do think teams tank in certain situations but its incredibly rare. The only time I can think of i would bet my life on it was vs Tampa when they ended up getting winston.

I think plenty of people can see the benefits of a loss in terms of scheduling and draft pick while still hoping we beat the falcons.

I'd honestly consider sitting Shough. Meaningless game with no benefit of winning. ATL gets after the QB and last thing we need is an injury. Start Rattler.

They aren’t going to take away his shot at ROTY

I see heavy play with the TE's in the middle of the field to mitigate the pass rush, and RB screens.

frick the Falcons.

I don’t want to lose, but if we do, so be it. Just be competitive and show effort. A win or a good loss benefits this team either way.

The smart thing to do would be to shut down Shough for the game.

You go try and win this with Rattler and everyone else.

I realize this won't be popular on here.

You go into the game with Shough as your guy and hope to continue to build with the offense. Also, see what he can do with the backup scrubs.

If the oline is getting destroyed; sit him then.

Especially with Ruiz coming back. He may not make it out alive.

I started the sit Shough for Atlanta game thread an hour after the game last week and received 3 upvotes and 109 downvotes. Now it seems like you guys are 50/50.

sounds about right.

Saints need to know how TS will play against their main rival and they already lost to them at home. They need film and revenge.

Id rather then win, get the hard schedule, play great all year but lose and get another top 10 pick.
