It’s targeting I guess but it shouldn’t be. If he leads with the crown I get it, but that what the are taught to do.

You act like this is the first you have seen of this. It's been called targeting 70% of the time for at least the last 5 years in hits exactly like this. It's a joke but that's just how it is now.

He turned his whole body and led with the shoulder. Only hit in the vicinity of the head because of what the receiver did.

They have to take into account that the ball carrier is being pulled down. It’s ridiculous to assume a defensive player can be going for a legal hit, the ball carrier called, trips, gets tackled and it’s the defensive players fault.

It’s 100% targeting by the definition.

The hit by #15 was the exact same hit, it’s just that the WR didn’t get tackled just before the contact.

I feel like I've said this about a player on my team 5 times in the last 3 years. It's bullshite but that is how they seem to call it now more times then not, even after reviewing it..so I'm assuming that is how they want them to call it going by the rule they have made?
