Bama was the most hated underdog in recent memory and Indiana is simultaneously a great story and a bonafide juggernaut. If you don't like them and aren't a Purdue fan, you don't like college football.

Of all the teams left, Indiana is the only one I wouldn't mind winning it all.

This is a thing of beauty for college football to have the unanimous #1 be a team of castoffs and overlooked guys who came together under the leadership of a student of the game at an historic bottom feeder to utterly humiliate the holy grail of the sport in the granddaddy of them all.

Cignetti is reason for every program to believe.

It's even more inspiring because they're not some smoke-and-mirrors team like 2008 Texas Tech/2012 Kansas State. They legitimately look like the best team in the country. CFB hasn't had a feel-good juggernaut since 1998 Kansas State.

They don’t look it, they are it. This is easily the most complete team and they showed it all season. All phases. Anyone who says otherwise is a dipshit.

They might not win it all, as anything can Happen against a great D, but they’ve got it all, and can match up with any style of play

I think the only hope against Indiana is to turn the game into a track meet. If the game is a street fight, Indiana wins.

Even more surreal to say that since normally successful seasons by non-traditional powers are associated with speed & Air Raid offenses, not by winning mainly at the line of scrimmage. Indiana is one of the best LOS-first teams I've ever seen.

They can match up with any style of play because they put belt to arse on every single snap. It's like being in a title fight vs Ali or Tyson. You eventually get sick of getting hit that hard over and over

Well said. Any doubters that remain simply have brains that cannot get past the logo on the helmet.

I've seen people saying earlier even just today that there are no dominant teams in CFB this year. Well, yeah there actually is. But people just don't want to admit that the only dominant team of the year, wire to wire so far, is Indiana. They're legit, and they have been all season. They went into Eugene, Oregon and put belt to arse to the Ducks. Indiana even threw a pick six that game and still won by double digits on the road. They beat OSU to win the Big Ten. They handed Bama their worst loss since 1998. Like what more do you need to see to finally admit that Indiana is the bona fide, real deal, legit #1 team in the country and they earned it?
