HOUSTON – For the first time since the 1940s, the number of police officers killed in the line of duty nationwide is poised to drop below 100, marking a historic milestone in law enforcement safety.

With just hours remaining in 2025, the year’s total stands at 97 officers lost. It’s a number that Ken Nealy, First Vice President of the Houston Police Officer’s Union, calls “monumental.”

The dramatic decrease coincides with the largest single-year drop in murders ever recorded nationally, according to data from AH Datalytics.

The PT boards favorite thrupple, Chubs, Powerman, and SFP have all pledged to try and get the number up in 2026.

Yet more people were killed by police in 2024 than in any year in a decade.

So under Biden people felt lucky.
Under Trump they got smart.

Did they kill random people or people that were breaking the law and a threat to the public? Because that is their job.

Can you show me a job description that has “killing police officers” on it?

Can we all thank Rev Al for the bodycams? It was one of the greatest missteps in his illustrious grifting career. It shows the truth behind the lies of criminals lying about interactions. Highlights how certain individuals lack impulse control and critical thinking. Makes the cops safer because criminals know everything is on camera and helps hinders the few bad apple cops that try to cross the line.

I don't even watch movies anymore.

Comedy: Sovereign Citizens and Politicians getting pulled over.
Mystery: Shoplifting and Domestic Disputes.
Action Adventure: Car Chases.
Horror: Go to EWU (Explore with Us).
Romance: Drunk Couples on Vacation.
Dark Comedy: People arrested in Airports.

SFP is devastated because this clearly shows that fewer illegals = less violent crime.

Because now they are being allowed to be active vs reactive.

We can thank this administration for at least that, as far as crime goes.

1365 people out of 342 million. .0004%

97 out of 900,000 police. 0.01%

25 times more police killed by people than people killed by police.

I can't believe the police just randomly ran around killing people like that!

I live in a city where the national guard was deployed. Trump most definitely helped drive down crime. Even 600 thousand hood rats here have to agree.

Maybe that’s a small part of the reason murders are down the past year.
