Watching the Las Vegas bowl right now Lateef looks so much better than Raiola. Yea we're gonna lose(defense is arse) but by now Raiola would have taken 2 sacks by now. No idea how hes rated as high as he is. Dudes a bum.

What are your thoughts on the program and direction TigerHuskers?
Living in the area the last 8 years. In my opinion apathy has become a routine. Really no high expectations anymore, don't really care anymore when they lose.
Few pockets of die hands, but it's more so turned into a social gathering then a let's watch our football team dominate and expect to win event.

Honestly with the portal and NIL im really not as emotionally invested in CFB anymore. Its not what I grew up with

I thought Rhule would have had a lot more success at Nebraska by now. Amazing how bad NU has been since Pelini of all coaches.

People also dont realize how bad Frost left the program. Amd not just roster wise, but culture as well. Then you had all the Raiola drama this year where Dylan goes into the portal because hes afraid of a QB competition and because his dipshit uncle was finally fired.

Yep.
NU’s true “hex” was self inflicted. We walked away from our identity over 20 years ago and through a series of poor choices at HC and/or AD, we’ve never remotely gotten back to fundamental things that served us well up in our part of the country.
RTDB. STDR. Premium emphasis put on line play (both sides). Defense, Special Teams.
Pelini was the closest to trying to get somewhat back to those fundamentals and overall he was at least winning 9 games a year.
Ever since Bo, our subsequent HCs just have no idea what to do and it’s nuts because our neighbor to our east (Iowa) beats us over the head with it to end every season.
Ironically, all our other sports (men or women) are doing about as well as anyone out there in these present days but our flagship sport continues to be a listless ship with no land in sight.
Oh well, so it goes.
