Met this dude once while he was still coach at A&M.
He was leaving Gibson’s in Chicago with a few of his old Purdue friends…was 6ish pm on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon/evening.
Dude was hammered. He couldn’t hardly stand, had spilled food (or something) on his shirt, etc.
Reputation definitely well deserved.

He was a stumbling drunk in his last stint as an assistant at Maryland, before he was fired. And it's hard for a black coach to be fired at Maryland.
