I've taken two flu shots, and both times I ended getting the worst flu I have ever had.
I haven't had the flu 10 years or so.

I used to be a believer in the flu shots and advocated for people to take them.I took them probably 25 years in a row,I never got the flu but I did see several of my family members take them and get the flu anyway.
I haven’t taken one since the Covid debacle (didn’t take the Covid shot)and I don’t intend to take them again.My primary care Dr.is fine with my stance,he is adament that I take Vit.D,and keep my level about 50.

I used to have no problems taking shots. I remember taking about 23 in basic training in about 2 days. When I left the military (2005 or so) I took the flu shot twice. The second time, after never being afraid of jabs, I nearly fainted immediately. Since then I have taken ZERO shots except a couple steroid shots in my arse for lower back arthritis. No vaccinations for me ever again. I wouldn't even take the cortisone shots if my back wasn't seized up at the time. Now needles almost always make me feel feint. It's crazy. But something in that second flu shot was no good. It literally rewired my brain. And I got sick as hell afterwards.

I got the flu shot for the first time when I was in my mid 20s. Ended up getting the flu. That was enough for me to not get the shot again. Haven't gotten the flu since. (Had covid a couple times but that wasn’t bad).

First time I moved to Europe, I wax only 9 and seemed like I had to take a similar amount.
I was playing pee wee football at the time and man did it suck to get hit in the arms.
