Is this the guy who was a db to the lady trying to get into the store while he was filming an interview last month?

Didn't watch the video. Got the first OnePlus way back when. I remember liking the phone and was considering keeping it, but went with the Note 4 Edge instead.

I have a 13. When they kill support for it, I will just install LineageOS on it. I could do it right now, but I don't really need to at the moment. It has been a solid phone. It takes hardly any time to charge, the battery lasts forever and it has a lot of storage and RAM. It's unlocked, and I've gotten it to work on all major carriers here in the US. It worked overseas too.

As far as phones here, we're getting shite on by Apple, Google and Samsung buying off our carriers. When I was overseas, I got to play around with a lot of the Chinese stuff... Oppo, Xiaomi, etc., and they were all very nice.

Anyway, I had a OnePlus 8 before this 13 I bought. I put LineageOS on it, and I was happy. That's just how I roll.

The 13 is a great phone, probably best Android phone of the year.

But the 15 is a step down. Lower specs on sensors and camera. Cut the partnership with Hasselblad. Changed the iconic camera lenses on the backside. Now looks like an iPhone.

I gotcha! I didn't pay much attention to the 15 when they released it because I was happy with the 13. That's good to know!

• 2014: OnePlus One launched with flagship specs, clean Android, and a $299 price
• Positioned as the anti-Apple, focused on value, performance, and community
• Quickly became a cult brand through forums, YouTube, and word of mouth
• Early success: strong specs, reasonable prices, fast OxygenOS
• Shift over time: higher prices, confusing lineup, leadership changes
• Pulled into Oppo/BBK ecosystem, losing its clean identity
• Software grew heavier, bugs increased
• India decline: hardware issues, retailer problems, stronger competition
• Result: OnePlus stuck in the middle—often a losing position

I'm still very happy with my 12. Sucks to hear that about the 15.
