Avengers: Doomsday Teaser 2 - Thor

Apologies if I’m just not up to date on the latest Marvel theories, but if it hasn’t already, this solidifies this movie will be all about saving/protecting the children.

To me it seemed more like the Russo Brothers are just trying to bring back elements that worked for the infinity saga. Thor trying to be more of just a normal dad and then the gang brings him back to fight evil again. A la Ironman in endgame

I just think it’s too much of a coincidence that Doom is introduced stealing the Fantastic 4 baby. Then in the Steve Rogers clip he’s holding a baby. Now Thor is a dad and they show his kid.
Seems like Doom is going to be kidnapping a bunch of superhero kids.

I suppose it’s possible. In the comics Franklin Richards gets kidnapped a few times. The one that makes sense to me here is the onslaught one, but with Dr doom taking the place of onslaught. I won’t get into the story details but the fantastic 4, X-men and The avengers are all involved.
Giving other characters children may just serve as extra motivation for them to get into the fight. Empathizing with Reed and Sue Richards having their kid taken. You could be right, I just think kidnapping a bunch of super kids would be a kind of a weird storyline for the marvel universe

Probably.
A central part of any Doom story is that he loses his family. So hes probably going to try and take the Avengers family away from them. Plus Franklin Richards is super powerful so he would already have a need for him.

Only thing missing from the Xmen teaser with Cyclops was a Nathan Summers reference.

It's too late. After what they did to the MCU as a whole, their clowning of established characters to insert and usurp them with lesser 'heroes', this is a sad cash grab, because everything else they tried has failed.
Cap will remain just 'Steve Rogers' and praise Sam for being a better Captain America.
Thor will bow to the new 'King' of Asgard, Valkyrie.

I’m not knocking them, there is a lot of pressure on the Russo Bros to make this one a hit. One more bomb like the electric state and they could be done getting big budget opportunities.
This is also why I’m of the opinion that they give Steve his shield back and attempt to reverse a lot of the other aspects that led to some Marvel flops.
