1. Continue to get out scored from 3. Just not enough shooters
2. Desperately missed Jose and really need a PG. Murray should help
3. No legit closer
4. Herb is missed. Trey on Brunson lol
5. Poole is poison late in games. I thought BI sucked in the clutch but damn

All of that but also we straight up went to war with a top 5 nba team tonight. Have some perspective.

Yeah, it's the NBA and it's professional sports.

Even the shite teams can frick around on a given night and scare or beat the best teams. We are nowhere close to the Knicks' level. They would beat us in 4 or 5 if we played them in a playoff series right now.

1. Jordan poo is awful
2. Keep Borrego
3. We need shooters

I like really like queen and fears. It’s going to make next years draft slightly more palatable given Queen looks to be a star. I enjoyed the game as frustrating as it was. Willie made watching basketball fricking miserable.

Kid have you forgotten Willie Green already? We are getting better. Embrace the positive.

I second all of this.

Give Borrego a team with more shooters and less retards and we’re in the playoffs. This guy has us going shot for shot against a top 5 team in the league with a certified retard in Poole playing crunch time minutes. And I don’t blame Borrego for playing him because he was hot and has literally no other options to turn to

willie green was the era of moral victories. what are you talking about. we're 6-16 under Borrego. not as shitty but shitty nonetheless.

The team still has some significant injuries (Herb and Murray), and two rookies getting forced into a ton of playing time (good for our future). Moral victories do sort of matter as we evaluate the team post Willie, particularly with Borrego. There's nothing that we can do to to suddenly become a great team, so watching an 8-26 stay competitive with a 23-9 team does matter for our future.

"Blow everything up and fire the entire front office" is the easy answer, but not necessarily realistic. The Pels lost tonight, but the players are buying into Borrego and playing better than we have for most of the recent Willie Green era. It's not like Gayle is going to spend big on a new coach, so that's important.

For the past 22 games, swap Willie out with whoever you consider to be the best coach of all time. How much better is our record? There's only so much that someone can do taking over a flawed team midseason.

I'm definitely not saying that Borrego is great, I'm just saying that the players are starting to put in more effort for him, which is huge. We played a close game against a really good team tonight. Let's see if they improve as the season progresses. A close loss tonight may turn into a close win a month or two from now as Borrego gets more time with the players and we (maybe) get healthier.
