Would be a A+ hire if he really would take an analyst role .
Riley won the Broyles Award (top assistant coach) in 2022 after leading TCU’s offense to high national rankings, further solidifying his credentials.
2024 Season Success:
Clemson’s offense was 11th in total offense (451.9 yards/game) and 18th in scoring offense (34.7 PPG) in 2024 under Riley, reflecting a high national standing.

Clemson had a damn WR playing RB all year cause of dabos inability to use the portal . Still had a top 20 passing offense.

He can likely get G5 OC gig immediately if he wants one. Possibly a lower P4 if one is still open.

Weiss will be up for a HC job next year or the next. Bring him over as analyst and then hire him as your OC. The offense will be ran by Kiffin anyway. This would be a good hire under Kiffin.

Riley is an Air Raid guy, even if he mixes it up a bit. Kiffin is more of a variation on the Briles power spread with an even bigger emphasis on running the ball. I’m not sure he would take a backseat to a guy like Kiffin.

Riley and Kiffin don’t exactly have the same offensive philosophy, not sure how that would work out.
