267 yds passing…. more than Wigman……less sideways stuff……kudos to him….he played a good game…..not saying he will be the qb but he was vastly improved BTW….no interceptions. Good game Michael.

I’ve said from the beginning of the Kiffin hire that he could make MVB a good SEC QB.

Don’t think great, but he could be good.

So, you are ready to start next season with MVB at QB?

He seems satisfied with the back up roll. I think he's worth a roster spot next year.

He GUS……you did not read my post correctly…what I said was MVB had a good game……not that he would be the qb next year. Read it again.

He was a lot better last night than any of his performances earlier in the season. He isn't top shelf, but he'll be a good backup for whoever becomes the starting QB next year. I was surprised at his mobility last night

He’s frustrating but have to remember he’s still young. He bounces a pass to a wide open receiver then on the very next play makes a clutch throw on a roll out. Think he would do well to stay and work with Lane.

MVB did not out play Weigman, maybe more yards in stats but that’s it. Not a bad game for MVB but he missed on a few key plays that made a big difference. He has to make the 3rd down conversions.

I agree he would make an excellent backup QB, worthy of roster spot and could really improve under Kiffin / Weis system. I hope he stays and competes.
