I seriously don’t understand the podcast/Facebook/general defense for Nuss that has erupted over the past few weeks. The idea that he’s “hurt” is laughable.
The OL is terrible, correct. But he has terrible footwork, makes bad decisions, and won’t run to save his life. He was bad all by himself without any help from anyone else.

Nussmeier is going to be in the Andrew Hatch/Anthony Jennings/Brandon Harris tier of LSU QBs. Like Brian Kelly, he'll be forgotten in a few years. His most notable accomplishment at LSU will be opting out of TWO bowl games.

Preseason Nuss was statistically on par to finish with better career stats than JB. JB's jr season was very average because he played injured as well.
