I feel like 75% of ND’s players wishes they were playing

In this very pop tart bowl right now. Sad that the institution likely took advantage of the emotion of missing the playoff without letting a couple days pass and let the kids decide if they really wanted to skip. The adults in the room are supposed to tell the kids let’s wait a couple days and calm down before deciding. Those adults don’t exist in south bend and now they have a shite storm

So the board is full of bots and trolls and multiple accounts. Has this place gotten too big? Only wanting ad revenue. I get it I like money too but am I talking to AI that is postung AI?

Knowing Notre Dame's arrogant and pompous administration and fan base, it being the Pop Tart Bowl was probably a big reason they declined. I'm sure ND feels like are "too good" for such a "gimmicky" bowl game.

Jan. 1, 1925 Rose Bowl-Notre Dame 27, Stanford 10
Second Bowl game:
Jan. 1, 1970 Cotton Bowl-Texas 21, Notre Dame 17
Notre Dame declined Bowl invites for DECADES...believing Bowl games stupid exhibitions and beneath them. Once the AP started naming their National Champion AFTER Bowl games, Notre Dame started accepting Major Bowl invites. If ND isn't in a Bowl game that factors into naming the National Champion, their history suggests they don't care to participate.
