Thinking about moving from BR to Northshore. Right now, I drive to Carter to play, so drive to there would be similar with a move to the Northshore.
Can anyone tell me the initiation fee and approximate monthly dues for TCC and BCCC for a 63 y o single golfer? Yes, I know I can call them, but I’m lazy, and partaking in a Sazerac at present.

Beau Chene is the better deal of the two you mentioned. TCC is such a horribly designed course and the fees are around $650 a month now. I believe BC is 500 or so like money hill has became.

If moving isn’t an issue, I’d move about another hour down the road in Diamondhead. Best deal anywhere.
If you live in the neighborhood, 36 holes for under $300 with your own cart.
You’ll be at $700 plus at BC and Tch plus large initiation fees.

I used to play that course 6 times a month. Always was in good shape.

What do you find so horrible about the design of Tcc? Just curious.

I like the overall setup and clubhouse at TCC way more
But the aging membership as well as the traffic getting across that damn bridge is why I joined BCC
Although my son takes lessons at TCC now so I may end up switching

I offered to let your buddy use a set of left handed clubs I had and you ghosted me….
To answer your question about it being a horrible golf course. It is a horribly designed and layout golf course by all objective metrics.

Didn’t mean to ghost you I appreciate the offer. He ended up getting a rental set from Edwin watts. My only gripes with Tcc is the par 5 on the front with the stupid tree in the middle of the fairway. Other than that I enjoy it. Played beau chene a lot as well

BCCC has two options but the initiation is $5000. You can either pay it all up front or put down $1000 and pay the remaining $4000 with higher dues over like 4 or 5 years.
Theres alot I don't like about BCCC but the people/members keep me there. If 1088 went up to Money Hill, I'd move in a heart beat.
