One of the benefits of the stroke is I really get to pay attention to movies,
and I have to say that this was just a very well-done series

I see so much more than ever I did before

It's a fabulous show.

Hope the recovery from a stroke is going well. Tough thing to get through.

I've done a couple of rewatches and usually pick up on something I had missed in my prior watches each time. Such a great series.

I hope you're ok

...and I've just started rewatching it as well.

Didn't you want Don to just punch the living sh%t out of Pete?

To the room:
It seems like what finally pushed Betsy over the edge was when the comedian douchebag told her the Don screwed his wife.

Now, while that was true, and Don was a louse overall, she was basically crashing the marriage on the word of a renowned POS guy like Barrett.

So from an objective standpoint her basis was bullshite.
Assuming my recollection is accurate.
This bugged me.

The flashbacks between Don first interacting with Roger (around S4E5-6) are cool, and perfectly acted by Don.

The only criticism that I have heard about the show is that the cadence of some actresses when asking a question was wrong for the time period and sounded too modern.

One of the best series ever IMO.

I think her big break was before then, when Barrett told her that.

Also cool, when Don finally lets Peggy have it in S4E7, although he wasn’t totally in the right there.

This is the epitome of Betty's psychology. She is a grown child. She focuses on self-pity and neediness.

It’s an interesting drama point because Don was so bad. The depraved protagonist. But what made Betsy freak out was bullshite. Not like really busting him screwing around, just some loudmouth a-hole talking shite

One of the best lines ever was when Peggy was crying to Don that no one ever says thank you or appreciates the effort and Don says that is what the paycheck is for.
