CLK Bowl Prep Questions

Will CLK have any input with the bowl game play calling? Or at least give them some pointers? I just don't want to watch the same garbage offense.

He's definitely evaluating who deserves their money and who should be cut on the roster. He already said in so many words BK way overpaid and they're going to give a value to each player. Some are not going to like it and hit the portal like Curne/JJ. More to come. I would expect Durham to announce when Lacy makes it official with LSU.

Curne has said he is open to coming back and is supposed to play in the bowl game.
I think JJ has decided he wants to try his luck at QB, and I expect him to go the G5 route.

I don't know if that is true or not. Durham averaged 4.8 YPC, Lacy 5.0. Both of them would be an asset in the RB room.

I hope so. It was painful to watch LSU’s offense this year. It’s like nobody prepared for games all year. They get paid and just don’t care.

No doubt that we would love to have all 3 but it's Durham's money year. If we have Lacy and Berry eating up 300 carries between the 2 of them then Durham has to leave. We will have to go get some depth pieces: FR/SO transfers or veterans with Louisiana ties who may not have big NFL aspirations. Would've been real nice to sign a couple incoming freshmen

You're not keeping Berry, Lacy and Durham on the same roster. Durham is in a money year. He's more likely to transfer than Berry. Durham is a junior, Berry is a sophomore. Durham isn't going to want to share the load when someone will promise him starting job and possibly more money. Berry is going to get paid and probably take the full job next year so I doubt he cares in a Lane Kiffin offense. Going to need at least 2 studs through the gauntlet of SEC play.

My son told me someone late in the recruiting cycle offered him as a QB but I can't recall who.

One of Durham or Berry could leave for sure. But Lane likes using multiple backs. He has had 3 backs get 100+ carries in a season before. This past year was kind of an outlier where Lacy got 270+ carries and the next was Diggs with 29. Usually the #2 back has 80-100 carries.
