It’s actually simpler than that:
1. Because it’s blowback for us destroying half of the Middle East.
2. Because the ones that weren’t a direct reaction to our wars in the ME were created, armed and funded by the U.S. and other western powers.

It's much simpler than that. It's because the people with the actual power over this country want it to happen.

Which is horseshite.
For the first 1600-1800 years or so after the birth of Jesus you had much of the modern world as we know dominated off and on by the muhamadins as they were called.
Once the colonial age began with what some would pin Napoleon going into Egypt and kicking their arse then you began a lot of Westernization.
Before then much of the Western world really had a lot of influence from the ME and Islam.
Of course there was the HRE/Byzantine in there but it wasn't as if they ruled the world.
GK certainly wasn't white and he was a machine rolling through the East and then turning his sights headed west and marauding and wiping people off the map.
Western civilization emerges and became what it is today but it wasn't like others didn't have shot at shaping the world. It just wasn't as a sustainable model due to a lot of growth simply from taking what others had and not really developing things themselves.

Also, I forgot about Ron Paul being personally responsible for doing background checks on all the 9/11 hijackers. I think he was their flight instructor too, wasn’t he?
