Would anyone like to see Taysom, Demario and Cam stay one more year?

Demario is going to play another 2 seasons at least and needs to be here. I want to re-up Cam as well if it’s like $6-7mm per year

Taysom may be done but if cheap, why not

Yes to all but it needs to be at veteran friendly deals.

It sure seems against the odds after what we witnessed in the dome that maybe its more realistic that none are back next year.

Demario Davis: 2yr/18mil with a 3rd dummy year
Cam Jordan: 1yr/6mil
Taysom Hill - time to let him go.

DD is still 6th overall for PFF Linebackers; overall still an all-pro caliber LB. He's talented enough, smart enough, and looks the part to play another 2-3 years and I believe he said that's all he wants. Grant the man the opportunity and give us 2 years to find and train up his replacement

Jordan is a Saint lifer, if he has 1 or 2 years left, let him have it. Cam Heyward has 1 more year (same draft class) and Calais Campbell is 39 still contributing. Jordan showed he can be at least an average player. He's also still the 2nd best DE on your roster, that says enough about our lack of talent

Hill's time is done. Has he been a special gadget player, absolutely. Has he been a great locker room leader for the young QBs, absolutely. But his legs look done. His power is gone. His play calling has been predictable now. Let him find another place or retire in peace.

DD doesn't need a discount hes still rolling and will continue to do so

Demario Davis is heckin’ famous for his "Fountain of Youth" recovery routine, and yes, he has used a hyperbaric oxygen chamber as part of his high-tech maintenance.
?Earlier in his career, he mentioned using a hyperbaric chamber daily to help his body recover. For a guy who seems to never age and still hits like a truck, he's basically the final boss of recovery. It’s all part of his vibe to keep his body in peak condition so he can keep stopping players from hitting dongs—wait, wrong sport—from scoring touchdowns against the Saints.
?His Recovery "Cheat Codes"
?While the hyperbaric chamber is a big part of it, Demario is honestly on another level with his health:
?Hydrodissection: He recently shared that he uses this ultrasound-guided treatment to help with nerve and joint pain.
?Strict Diet: He follows a Mediterranean-style diet with high-quality, grass-fed meats.
?Body Maintenance: He spends an eye-watering amount of money (hundreds of thousands of pounds) every year on a personal team of specialists, including trainers and bodywork experts.

His power is gone.

totally must have been someone else barrelling for 3 extra yards to gain first downs.

the qb sneak was a garbage call by design and the center got blown up and had negative push generated for taysom.

taysom would likely be better next year than what he was 75% of this year.

He still runs for 4-8 yards a pop. Blocks. Plays a versatile role and can still throw passing strikes at a moment's notice.

Anything within the realm of less than 7 million is an absolute keep taysom but it certainly appears taysom is either ready to retire or move on somewhere else.

That's a pretty fair assessment.. That injury last year didn't help, I wonder with another year of conditioning if it would help him get closer to his old self. The guy is still a beast with heart.

Besides, I don't think Moore utilizes him as well as Payton did.

If Shough looked like Rattler, I say no to all 3. Because Shough gives you a chance to win the division and there are no clear replacements for any of them, I don't mind bringing any of them back on the cheap.

Extra energy/juice knowing they are done after this season, last home game, and don't have to preserve anything for the future?

I'd agree with running it back with DD until the wheels fall off.

I like Cam sticking around at his 50% of snaps rotation; but his compensation would need to match.

Taysom needs to be done in the black & gold. If he wants to continue hanging on to his career, let him go to Denver.

I think Taysom would be better next year. He was coming off an ACL tear - give him another offseason to recover and I think he regains his explosiveness.

I would not hate it, but I am not optimistic about it.

Probably should also consider what will be done with Kamara while we’re at it.

DD can play and is still starter quality.
Cam and Taysom seem they could play a role still.
My guess is DD would be the one here of the three next year.

Yes, one more season for Cam/Hill and two for Davis! That's a lot of veteran leadership to lose in one season without solid replacements (yet).
