This and next year are rebuilds. Year 3 is the turning point hopefully.

A win at home vs the Jets gives you hope? So much that you would rather have a less talented player on your team next year to acquire this magical win?

No idiot, it gives me hope that we have our QB and that he gets another win under his belt. Great for his confidence and experience
You always want to win, doesn't matter who you play.
Besides , you never know what you get with a high draft pick. You could get a bust like Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Charles Rogers, or Tony Mandarich.
