I think it's interesting that business schools teach this, and then Bud Light learn from it by hiring Shane Gillis to be the new spokesperson taking comedy out of the equation
although Bud Light deserves to be mocked as a beer

Serious question. Is Bud Lights commercial success due mostly to marketing?
I’m not a beer snob by any means but there are just so many other options that have more taste.

Youtube algorithm can be spooky. This video popped up on my Youtube for the first time this morning.
But if we're comparing downfalls, the Watney's downfall is most similar to the Pabst downfall from the early 1980s, which was another suggested Youtube video from a few weeks ago. They both started cutting corners and made their beer taste cheaper and act cheaper. Bud Ligh's downfall was marketing related.
