How many more times can he get away with these fights? I watched last night and it was a joke. AJ could have won it in the first 10 seconds but was deliberately not engaging, not boxing him. Jake had his hands down most of the fight. This is one step removed from professional wrestling. If that’s what it’s supposed to be, I guess people will continue to watch. If this is supposed to be boxing, it’s not even close

It is professional wrestling. Jake is an entertainer and scammer.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think he’s got good boxing skills and solid chin. He could probably KO 10 average man in the same night. He’s in it for the money and attention. However when he fights, it’s a lose lose situation for him. If he wins, it’s either bc his opponent is washed or it’s rigged. If he loses, he gets laughed at.

This was a glorified sparring session for AJ, it's been a long layoff and he got to fight a smaller faster fighter and get paid 8+ figures. He also got to knock the guy out and break the jaw of a guy who had been cosplaying a boxer for the past few years. I didn't watch, because I don't support it, but what people hoped would happen, finally happened.

Jake ran and ran 'til he con't run no mow and then AJ set his feet and teed off

Should have been deducted points for all the dropping to his knees when he got scared.

I guess that’s my question. I feel pretty confident that most fighting fans have figured out it’s bullshite.

He was flopping around the ring like a fish that jumped in the boat. I wanted to turn off after the first round, but was invested in seeing his head fall off his body

I doubt anyone signed up to Netflix bc of this fight. We already had it and it was a free fight with a couple of big names. Why wouldn't people watch it?

dude is the only reason people even watch or pay attention to the dead sport of boxing at all…everyone rage watches then complain that he gets another fight because of the ratings and then they rage watches the next fight…it’s so funny to watch this play out every fight

It was a social media event not boxing. Have you seen the stupid videos people watch?

He got what he wanted. Stop bitching about it. If you don’t like it don’t watch it. If you’re watching in order to see him get his head knocked off you are a bigger fool than the people who think he was going to knock AJ out.

I’ll give Jake Paul one thing. He’s got balls if nothing else.

I just watched it. He's a terrible boxer. No real boxing technique. It was comical. He was scared the entire time in the ring. You'd never would have seen a fight like this hyped 20 years ago. Social media, and it's "influencers", is ruining every facet of society

How so? Hardly anyone is watching boxing anymore. It’s at the very least getting more eyes on the sport.
