So, the actual killer was a 48yo former Brown student named Claudio Manuel Nueves Valente.
I wonder how many here will have the integrity and dignity to post an apology for their unwarranted attacks upon this Kharbouch kid?

While i feel bad for him,
The real lesson is how believable it was that he was the killer, since Palestinian activists are so violent

The guy's still an extremist piece of shite though so I don't particularly care about his fate...but it's actually shocking and pathetic that the school let the public run with a race/religion-tinged allegation involving one of their students that they could have put to bed in a few hours with a phone call and 15 minutes with law enforcement. He could have been exonerated first day and the school could have tweeted that he wasn't the guy instead of opening him up to potential violence / harassment
He's going to sue the crap out of the school, that's a given

Based on what the authorities deigned to tell us, he certainly was someone worth questioning:
The authorities could have said, "NO, he didn't say 'Allahu Akbar.'" Instead they played coy. Kharbouch LOOKED somewhat like the video guy. He had a background that could have been consistent with Islamic extremism. THEN, Brown scrubbed him from their website without explanation. FINALLY, Kharbouch didn't post any denial through Brown or on his own.
ALL of that could have been cleared up by authorities rapidly. They didn't. I don't have any guilt for thinking...WITHOUT EXPLANATION...that Kharbouch was the murderer.
I actually emailed him:) He didn't respond.
