I believe we need to keep him he is a different player!

What makes him different?

His rating coming out of high school.
I do think he’d be a good guard, but he’s got a lot to fix (expected for a freshmen). Davis’s development has stunted a lot of growth on the oline

Talent size brain and one of the lineman that really grew this year!! Lance Heard we let walk as a freshman and he’s one of the best tackles in football!!

This is a no brainer!

Sounds like Curne was a prima donna that didn’t jive with the new staff.

He gone with Frank to Ole Miss

If the story of him leaving to be closer to his kid is true, I don't see him returning and really wouldn't blame him. But you never know...money talks loud in these situations.

Just shows how talented Campbell and Emery were to develop despite Davis's hands lol

Marion, AR is less than 2 hours from Ole Miss. That would make sense.

It’s all about assessed value now. It appears Curne’s current dollar value did not match up with Kiffin/Glasscock’s evaluation metrics on him.
Right or wrong…they have a system, and they use it.

I think he absolutely did Jones a disservice. His potential is much higher than where he was drafted, but I understand him not coming back this past year with the downward trend in oline play over the past few years

If he's demanding he start over an all-american, that would be a similar situation, but there's no all-americans on this line. You don't listen to demands from freshmen however.

Dude you seriously need to get your panties out of a wad. First it was crying about Hankton. Now Curne. PLAYERS AND COACHES WILL BE SHOWN THE DOOR DURING A COACHING CHANGE.
The guy that just led fricking Ole Miss to the playoffs has the right to make decisions about who he wants in the building. Period.

Other than maybe Dillinger, Adams is really the only other guy to only be coached by Davis who really improved. He’s not nearly as good as Campbell and Jones, but he’s solid and a lot better than any other recruited OL on the current roster.

Would improve greatly under proper coaching and strength training.

Sometimes there are things you do not know about a kid that makes kids leave. This is one of them.

I had high hope for this guy when he committed.
He got his chance to play in his freshman year and quickly realized that playing OT in the SEC was a mans game.
He was too slow.
He was too weak.
He was too inexperienced.
He was overmatched.
The one thing I will give him is, he has had sub-par coaching in my observation watching LSU's OL development under Davis.
Disappointing to see him bounce after only 1 season. I was hoping he would be humbled by his experience and come back hard with a strong season and attitude next season, but grit, character, integrity and balls have nothing to do with college football anymore.
