Released about 13 minutes ago.
CPI 2.7% YoY, (Est. 3%)
Core CPI 2.6% YoY, (Est. 3%)
People downvote favorable cpi reports on the money board?

additional information,
Where are all those sky screamers howling about tariff inflation impact?
Lower energy prices is the secret to slowing the inflation, imo.

The delayed November consumer price index report – the first one issued to the public since the U.S. government shutdown ended last month – showed that the headline annual inflation rate was 2.7%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The 12-month rate for core CPI, which excludes food and energy, was 2.6%. Economists polled by Dow Jones had expected the rate for the headline measure and core CPI to come in at 3.1% and 3.0%, respectively.

Tariffs don’t cause inflation. That’s always been a nonsensical narrative intended to be consumed by morons.

But the Moneyboard tards said the rate cuts were going to spike inflation to 15% and tariffs bad
Keep cutting the rates Too Late

Lol. Cost increases do not lead to higher prices?

The little to no impact the tariffs have had just shows how bad China and others were ripping us off.

I didn't downvote you, but I think people are starting to have the same reaction to this kind of news as they do when a company falls short of or exceeds "targets": it's wholly contingent on the context of the target or estimate.
To illustrate, if they had "estimated" 10% inflation and it came in at 9.9%, it would have "beat estimates" but still be really, really, really fricking bad.
Here, the estimate was 3%, which most rational people would say would be not ideal. 2.7/2.6% is certainly better than 3%, but that's not the relevant question. The relevant question is whether 2.7/2.6% is good, bad, or ugly. I find it frustrating when the conversation focuses on the estimate instead.

You're welcome? You complained in your OP about downvotes; I gave a possible explanation. Don't join SDV in his ridiculousness

Inflation is a lagging indicator. Its not going to show up 5 days after a 'rate' cut

You said 15% inflation after the cut in Sept
You are such an embarrassment and a moron

I said no such thing. Lets remember when Trump Admin injected 2 Trillion of liquidity in market from March to August 2020 inflation didn't show up until early 2021.
