ESPN 104.5 Podcast

Let me start off by saying…. I listen to just about every show.
Off the Bench, Hunt Palmer, and AFR
I listen to Hanny and Jimmy O sometimes also.
I just have a few complaints..
1. The changes in volumes are rough on the ears. It’s mostly on the their ad reads. They just come across so much louder and sometimes the interviews/normal talk are so low and then it shifts to way too loud and blast the ears
2. Lately some shows have been not been posting at all.
3. Some shows are not the right shows or older shows posted as the new shows.
4. The shows from today are showing up as 12 hours earlier so it doesn’t show as just posted.
I get that it’s radio, but I know many of their audience also listens later through podcast due to not being in the car during the time slots. I like being in the know. Just wish their production team would do a little better and make a better listening experience for their listeners.
Would help make them reach that number 1 morning show spot (Talking to you off the bench)
I’m sure they don’t go back and listen to the podcast version and just post and never check again. Just saying a little more quality control would go a long way.

Well, the three shows you listen to are the worst and the one you listen to the least is the best so I think that’s a big part of your problem.

Hanny and ott always gonna sound subpar due to broadcasting out of the studio so often.

OTB has had issues with Spotify and Apple Podcasts for music copyright. I believe they are trying to fix it, but since they play music so often, it gets flagged.

Makes sense. Hope they fix it. Maybe that’s why some of their episodes don’t get posted. They aren’t the only ones. Hunt Palmer’s show has had a lot of shows posting hanny and Jimmy.

This just goes to show how much taste and personality differ from person to person. I can’t stand listening to Ott or Mascona where I very much enjoy Flester and Hunt.

I could not agree more! I live in another state and listen to the podcasts as replays on YouTube at night as opposed to watching crappy TV. Gordy needs to get those guys in gear. There have been issues with the channels podcasts being posted incorrectly or late for years. I appreciate that they offer them on YouTube and their site as it is the best way for out of towners to keep up but wish they were vigilant about their consistency and accuracy.

The only show worth listening to is live at lunch. Jimmy Ott is not just the best sports radio personality in BR, he’s arguably the best in the industry.

I used to listen to 104.5 on a C. Crane Pocket Radio. Now, I listen to the shows on YouTube live. Yes, when commercials kick in, my brain liquifies, and I'm hitting the volume quickly, just like radio.
Cool hack, I listen to other shows on YouTube until about an hour after the 104.5 show starts. Then, i switch to the show and fastforward when they start commercials. That, my friend, is how you take control of life.

Yeah hanny and not are my favorite but audio is terrible. They interviewed Scott rabalais yesterday and I could hardly hear him.

I’ve been listening to some of these during the last few weeks, much more than usual.
OTB is so boring and disjointed without T-Bob. I turn it off every time I try it.
Moscona is actually pretty good but his ego is inserted every 5 minutes or so and that’s annoying.
I haven’t tried Ott but I used to listen to his afternoon show religiously and I’ve always enjoyed Hannigriff even though he reminds me of Jon Lovitz’s character from the Critic. I’ll give it a listen today to try it.

OTB has been bad without TBob. They always include Alondra and her worthless takes. Like why do we care what this casual has to say about sports. She learns as she goes. We been doing this for years.

The advantage to listening to podcast form is the ability to listen when you’re available later. How is clicking “listen live” the solution to his problem?
