The only RB in the last 10 years to have college success and success at the next level was Fournette. We have legit had a dry run under Frank Wilson. It was time to move on.

Hopefully this means we are getting Kevin Smith. Would be a pretty big upgrade.

Uh, I seem to remember a guy in 2019. Can't remember his name. Maybe it will come to me.

Frank hasn't been with LSU during that entire span, he came back when Kelly was hired

When Frank wasn’t here?

He was here from 2010-2015 & then 22-25.

I mean, he didn't develop anyone while at UTSA or McNeese either.

Gives OP even more credit if you ask me.

Didn't realize that. My bad. Guess he was a head coach then.

He recruited more felons than 1000 yard rushers in his return

You mean in 2019 when he was the head coach at UTSA for the last 4 years?

YIKES.

You way over estimate how much a running back can be developed. Size, speed, instinct and vision are God given and cannot be developed, and these traits are what make for exceptional running backs.

Uhh he was a big reason for all of the studs pre-2015?

After that it was Tommie Robinson & Kevin Faulk 2017-2021. I agree we haven’t been great at the position since he came back either

Clyde did alright in college and was serviceable while healthy in the NFL.

Frank not to blame he just got back over here.

Last year we were pass happy and this year it's impossible to tell what we have at RB with these jokers blocking up front and especially the ones calling plays.

Time to let the past and the dinosaurs go. Trust Lane and his philosophy, the rest will happen organically.

What? Guice was nuts. CEH was really good though not a traditional RB that we usually run.

Have you realized that Frank was going .500 or below at UTSA while both CEH and Guice were committing to LSU?
