A look back at German immigration

Anyone remember Angela Merkel’s policy to let in well over a million middle eastern asylum seekers?
What could have gone wrong and how is that working out now for the heart of Europe now? Was it a smart move?
I believe that was her last term.

She was a member of the communist party and speaks fluent Russian.
But, yes, hates dogs. All bad qualities

I think they’ve done their time and no longer need to say sorry anymore. A strong Europe starts with Germany.

And we did it to them. Directly. It was planned. Henry Morgenthou actually pressed Truman to wipe Germany off the map after the war. His plan was to break Germany into four vassal states that would be subservient to bordering allied countries. Part of this plan entailed the complete wiping of German language and culture, replacing it with the language of the allied country controlling each section. German would have been forbidden to be taught in their schools.
While Truman rejected that plan, the US imposed what they thought was a better option: imposing modern American liberalism on their culture. American academia was a big part of this process, which is why the whole “white men are evil” thing sprung up so prominently in Europe so quickly. We tore Germany’s backbone out and taught them to hate themselves as a matter of national policy.

As I recall (West) Germany began letting in lots of Turkish Moslems back in the 1960s to work in heavy industries, particularly auto manufacturing. Snowballed from there.
