Why do you think that?

Good game. OKC shot bad but Wemby is super good.

OKC plays Sours 23rd and 25th so we get some good holiday BB.

24-2, both losses by 2 pts.

I thought that at first but you need something for teams to play for early in the season… the timing works because it’s 6 months until the NBA Finals

NBA is terrible to watch, but the young watch because all they want to see is dunks and 3 pointers

Give me the physical style, major rivalries and actual “by the rules” play of the pre-2000’s

That’s how I normally feel. But that game last night was great basketball.

Please go watch all of the random regular season games from the 80's and 90's that are on youtube and I dare you to tell me you're not bored with how slow the pace is.

All the Gen X and millenials on here are nostalgia for that time because they were kids and were a lot less jaded, but they don't actually remember the style of play, just the highlights from the most memorable games.

I completely disagree. Currently OKC plays hard defense and people complain left and right. Last night was an awesome game and both teams were playing hard.

I watched every Bulls game during MJ’s 6 title era. It was a slower game than now. They had different rules and it was pretty defense oriented. I encourage you to go watch some old games. Todays game is much faster, and whole rosters are more physically in shape compared to then.

As for the Cup I’ve noticed teams care more now than its first year. Its gaining traction. Used to be games in Nov and early-mid Dec meant nothing but teams are trying now. Hell, without the Cup this thread wouldn’t even exist 5 years ago.

Funny how that works when FTA doesn't get his bullshite whistle. He also couldn't get his forearm shove separation on castle and threw his feet forward to get a landing zone call too.

Hes going to get hurt at some point for this jackassery.

Nearly every other league in every sport in every country has something like this. It works and no reason for people to hate on it.
