n appeal, Adams argues that the School Board’s bathroom policy violates both the Equal Protection Clause and Title IX. At its core, Adams’s claim is relatively straightforward. According to Adams, the School Board’s bathroom policy facially discriminates between males and females. Adams, who identifies as a male, argues that the policy violates Adams’s rights because, as a transgender student, Adams cannot use the bathroom that corresponds to the sex with which Adams identifies. Which is to say, Adams argues that by facially discriminating between the two sexes, the School Board’s bathroom policy also necessarily discriminates against transgender students. We disagree with Adams’s theory that separation of bathrooms on the basis of biological sex necessarily discriminates against transgender students.
quote:
Indeed, when we apply first principles of constitutional and statutory interpretation, this appeal largely resolves itself. The Equal Protection Clause claim must fail because, as to the sex discrimination claim, the bathroom policy clears the hurdle of intermediate scrutiny and because the bathroom policy does not discriminate against transgender students. The Title IX claim must fail because Title IX allows schools to separate bathrooms by biological sex. We now begin our full analysis with the Equal Protection Clause and end with Title IX.

These people are fricking lunatics. Maybe these places can just call them male and female bathrooms instead of men's and women's.
Even then I don't like it, because that's bending the knee to these freaks.

Well... At least this provides a list of those who should be on the first train to the camps.

No need for camps. Just erase those people.

It would better if our Speaker of the House and Senate Majority leader brought this issue up to a vote to get everyone on record (and make nice ads for the midterms). I guess this is the next best thing - but doesn't quite work as well.

I'm tired of indulging mental illness, and that's all this is. It's a humiliation ritual where we are expected to nod and comply no matter how absurd the demand.

I kind of agree with them, but not for the same reason.
What women's sports does anybody really get juiced up about watching, first of all? It's like watching 7th grade boys compete. It's not any kind of loss.
Secondly, if Title IX goes away, the WNBA and the NWSL would too, since all they do is lose money, and since the pipeline for new talent would disappear. It would be really gratifying for me to see bitches like Megan Rapinoe and Brittany Griner (if the latter really is a woman, which I doubt) melt down about those women's sports disappearing altogether specifically because of an ideology they supported.
Third, I'd also love to see the media have to admit that men are vastly superior to women physically. Without Title IX, women who wanted to compete in sports would have to try to make the only teams left, which would be the men's teams. And of course, none of them would be able to do so.
There is a large segment of the population today who genuinely believes that women can compete with men physically. They've been brainwashed by the messaging and entertainment nonsense for the past couple of decades. This would completely disabuse that notion and would be a step in the right direction in terms of correcting gender roles in society.
And to that point, women do not need sports to develop female virtues growing up. That's been the messaging, but it's BS. The virtues developed in competitive sports are almost entirely male virtues. This is where I think MAGA gets confused by opposing this sort of thing and wanting women to have these opportunities. All that does is further confuse proper gender roles in society. Women should not act like men, and men should not act like women. It's a feminist ideal to think that women need equal opportunity to compete in sports, thus why the 3rd wave feminists argued so vehemently for it...that's where Title IX came from in the first place. It's a feminist law.
Anyway, they know it's not going to happen. This is nothing but a virtue signal. If this dog ever actually caught the car it's chasing it would be disastrous for them, and they know it.

Patty Murray used to be the dumbest person in the Senate. She hasn’t gotten any smarter but she is no longer the dumbest person in the Senate.

We should NOT have to conform to a group's mental illness and our children should not be subjected to it either. This is insanity and I am so sick of these people. If this type of mentality to allowed to be entertained, before long all of these Muslims in Congress will begin pushing Shria Law as the law of the land and Dems will promote it. Hell, it's already starting to show

This, or it's all part of the larger idealogy of constantly creating chaos to the point of overwhelming despair by the truly tolerant of society.
No further explanation needed. Persevere.
