Shame LSU didn't recruit Washington. He might play 1-A football but 6' 6" is impressive. Looks like a good WR.

Saw his highlights from the semis. He can catch anything. Surprised he hasn’t gotten looked at by many big time schools

Ehh.
Calvarys secondary isn’t exactly stellar. I wouldn’t base anything off this game.

He already signed with South Alabama.

Correct. They mentioned it many times tonight and the last game. Dude is big but (imo) he lacks it ability. He should be able to dominate with his size. He can’t, any type of bump or physicality young man backs down.
Elijah however has the IT factor. What a win for Dunham tonight. Go Tigers!!!

Not flaming at all but there has to be a reason he hasn’t gotten many oooks.

I will say that many recruits' heights seem to shrink slightly when they get to LSU, and many more shrink again when they get to the NFL.

How fast is he?
I'm guessing he's camped at SEC schools and maybe speed is what's holding him back
Plus Applewhite has the connection to Weiner to recruit those mid tier guys
If he does well enough then the bigger schools will come calling

Yep give him 1-2 years at South Alabama. If he blows up bring him home, if not the evaluation was correct to begin with.

He's not 6'6" but not far from it. He is all of 6'4"+ without shoes on. He is one of those guys that seems to play faster than the stop watch indicates. His 40 time is not great in camps but he is never caught from behind. The other thing is he has matured quite a bit over the past year. He was good for an unsportsmanlike conduct every other game or so last year. He has gotten that under control and become a leader.
I can easily see him lighting it up at USA for a year or two and transferring to a SEC school.

Shouldn’t the new 105 scholarship limit allow us to take a chance on a guy like this? If he’s good and makes the team then Lane can get him some NIL afterwards.
