The article says they reversed the decision to cancel, but still a bitch move in the first place, especially since Ivan Maisel apparently recused himself from discussing ND on the committee due to this book.

The biggest winner is likely Ivan Maisel. Because I don't think anyone knew about his new book until they cancelled the signing

I think Notre Dame overestimated their worth to the world. A lot of bitter opinions of them are coming out after seeing the ND tantrums.
