Eli Lilly chose Huntsville, AL as home to another expansion. $6B that creates 3,000 construction roles, more than 450 skilled jobs including engineering, scientists, operations personnel, and lab technicians when the site opens. This is all due to Trump's tariff strategy.

No shite. The only people on here who hate tariffs are those who hate Trump. Trump could be anti tariffs and they’d love them. Wah wah wah

The tariffs worked so well for the farmers that we had to give them $12 billion this week.

I work for Lilly. This and three other new sites were decided to be US based coming out of Covid because of supply chain, not tarrifs.

A lot of other factors went into why the Farmers are broke, but Tariffs did not help.

Tariffs hurt some industries but help a lot more. It's a net win for the country.

supply chains coming and going out of where though? You may want to tell Yahoo Finance

"Eli Lilly’s move to expand its US manufacturing presence comes amid rising threats from the Trump administration, which has claimed it will impose 100% tariffs on branded pharmaceuticals unless companies are “breaking ground” on a US manufacturing facility. Tariffs of this nature are yet to be implemented."

The rice farmer from Louisiana said they would be out of business if it wasn’t for the tariffs establishing fair trade because they were getting hammered by foreign imports coming in the US illegally through Puerto Rico.

Did she get it wrong? Maybe you should give her your opinion so that she knows better next time she meets with the President.

"Cool story" is a great way to dismiss evidence that doesn't fit your narrative.

Just say “I don’t really understand how economic policy works in practice. I’m a stupid, pathetic, old man and I’m a major reason why my country is in turmoil”. You’d be saving everyone the time, including yourself

The tariffs have been a complete disaster and it's not coming from just Trump haters it's coming from any rational thinking person, you can try and spin it all you want to meet your narrative but the results are evident.

The decision to build 4 new plants in the US was made in 2022 & 2023. Same time they decided to build two new EU plants.

Of course the tarrifs makes it a good decision, but your article doesn't say anywhere that it was made because of the tarrifs.
