How many on this forum over 50 thought the US would be facing collapse today?

I'm 67 and I can tell you 30 years ago I had no idea how quickly the US would succumb to leftist/marxist influence. I saw a poll a few days ago that showed 51% of Americans under age 40 had a favorable view of socialism.
Someone tell me, please explain to me how you turn the tide of 70 years of leftist indoctrination of the US populace through a leftist educational system, a leftist media, leftist pop culture/Hollywood and a leftist judiciary?
I need an answer because right now it's not looking favorable for the constitutional republic.

No offense, but your generation is largely to blame.

Really the only example I have ever seen was how Pinochet handled it.
They are only just now starting to see the negative influences of socialism pop up again.

Settle down and take a few deep breaths. We’re not about to collapse.

It’s the front end of your generation why this country is such a disaster now.

The go to response is to blame others for your shortcomings ....been going on for millennia.

I am 64 and I always felt the assholes 10-15 years older than me would drain social security because there were so fricking many of them.
I was wrong.
I was wrong.

Because the middle class has been disappearing for the last 40 years...intentionally.
That leaves a somewhat larger upper class and a much much larger lower class. That lower class sees one thing: unaffordability: the inability to steward their resources for a better life or even the same life as their parents.
And socialism, however wrong and misguided it may be, seems like an answer.

So who is to blame for influencing the generation you want to blame?

The US middle class/working stiffs were being sold out over 30 years ago by the DC Uniparty and their Corporate partners to foreign interests.

I just took a deep breath and realized the US has $38 trillion of debt that will never be paid. There's a price to pay for fiscal irresponsibility.

59. I’ve felt we had passed the point of no return for almost 20 years now.
It began in late 60’s with the Summer of Love, followed by those same free love, drug loving freaks infiltrating colleges as professors.
Their trans loving freak children then infiltrated our high schools.
We’ve lost at least one generation if not two at this point, with more to follow.
I maintain only three things that will save us. We are attacked by a foreign country here on our home shores, a repeat of the Great Depression or the Second Coming of Christ.

You made a comment, explain yourself. What generation are you referencing?

Actually it is the Silent Generation.
A lot of influence cones from those a few years older rather than parents.
Those are the assholes like Pelosi, the Chicago 7, Jane Fonda, Ted Turner, anybody from 80 to 95 now, born 1930 to 1945.
Then the people the age of the Clintons lapped that shite up.

I can support this ^^^^.
Those who believe it's a certain generation that brought on the potential collapse of this constitutional republic are the same people who are unwilling to admit to their own weaknesses and shortcomings.

Boomers.
McCarthy was right you know.
Wherever your fall in the "generational" spectrum, how about you do something about it?

America hasn’t succumbed to Marxist influence. They are trying to make it appear as though it has online though.
If not for USAID it would be crickets.

Simple...divided families. How many "men" you know haven't divorced, split families, aren't home etc.
Father's being out of the home, imo, is #1 in society breakdown.

Why is that^^^? Could it be the federal government in many instances has supplanted the father as the head of the household?
