The saints should build everything around Tyler. He showed me something today!!! His numbers won’t wow you but it’s the critical situation football he’s winning! This city should absolutely get behind him & embrace him as QB for next decade!!
Get him some more weapons & a good defense! Saints aren’t far off from bouncing back & competing in this division!

He really does play like a skinnier early career Big Ben with a much worse surrounding cast. There were plenty of games that were ugly but Ben would make a couple of opportune plays.

Post game locker room chant, Cam Jordan said "Shough it lets go!" and team went crazy
I would not expect them to draft a QB

Was talking to a friend about this, I'd be willing to let him have a full offseason under Moore and at least start the season next year. The quarterback class isn't that enticing, so we can address our other needs with our potential early picks.

Exactly. Just find exceptional players. We need a foundation and a few real difference makers. Give him the whole year as the guy and see if he sinks or swims.

I know "the box score doesnt tell the whole story" is sometimes cope and cliche but if you watched that game the 2 biggest plays that jumped out to me but wouldnt pop on the box score were
1) he had a big 3rd down throw over the middle where he couldnt step into a throw and took a big hit
2) that 3rd down throw to right to Vele on the last offensive drive. Big time
also he has a quiet confidence the team seems to really rally behind. Its a lot of the players running up to a stone faced Shough like "bro wtf did you just do. that was sick"

I liked the reaction after the 2nd TD. Olave was pumped.

They had some sort of handshake they did in the locker room video too.
Team is behind him for sure.
(i know they probably were cool with Rattler too. This isnt an exclusive accolade. Just pointing out that the team is definitely all in on him at the moment.)

Agreed. Tighten up the line, and get him the best WR you can find. There's nobody in the draft next year that will just take the job away from him.
