Terrible shooting

They could until 5o day and they came out ice cold. I saw some good things before today but a little ugly stuff peaked out at me in the last game. They ugly was magnified by poor shooting today.

They're on quite a cold steak the last few games. Getting open looks but nothing is falling. Hopefully it picks back up

He needs to be playing Zipper. Not sure what the deal is there. 6’6” guard who scored double figures in Israel pro league. Has a nice shot but can do other things. McKinnon needs to be strictly a shooter. If he’s not hitting, sit him. He is a liability on defense and his ball handling with pressure is suspect. And if your other wings aren’t hitting put Mosley in. He looks more athletic than King and Carter. King hasn’t hit crap in 2 games.

I think their best shooter is Zipper, but I guess he's learning defense. Max is still statistically the best, but I think he is more inconsistent than Zipper. Max is shooting 44% for the season, and he shot really well against DePaul and Boston College, but then fell apart today. Sutton and Carter are also good 3pt shooters, and Thomas has been a good 3pt shooter in his career, but he's been bad at 3pt shooting this year.

That's because teams that are not big, fast and physical cannot push us around and we tend to be able to get what we want offensively with them. And that's the types of teams we've played to this point.
We got a bit of a hint of that against BC when they stepped up the physicality against us defensively, but they only had one kid who could put the ball in the hole so we survived that game.
Like I said, I'll give us a stinker - those happen. Our elite 8 team in 87 lost to Auburn by 35 the last regular season game.
But this just looks too familiar under CMM, physicality steps up - we step back. Hope I'm wrong.
