Terrible. Too many trips to Houston. Nashville would have been better. Although probably more alumni in Texas, so that’s good for those folks.

But but the recruiting and the alumni in Houston. My God how many teams does the state of Texas have and yet LSU thinks they have to cater to the city of Houston.

Nashville, outside, that time of year could really suck...vs a dome.

Houston is LSU’s largest alumni base and LSU fans weren’t travelling to whatever bowl they got

Same bowl as when we had 33 scholarship players and a WR playing QB just after the Kelly hire

What happened to the Music City Bowl?

This is our 3nd Texas Bowl in 5 seasons, WTF?

The things I do like about the Texas Bowl is it's in a Dome stadium on a Saturday night and Houston is a much closer drive.

I love it! Houston has the largest supply of LSU alumni of any city, outpassing Dallas, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. That could factor into this bowl decision.

toilet bowl

time to cancel all shite bowls and conference tite games with this new shite playoff format. we can just get NCAA to allow us to scrimmage for all december to make up for a toilet bowl.

Meaningless and uninspiring game. The only benefit is additional practice time for the members of our team that opt to participate.

all non playoff teams need to do it to send a big you to the NCAA

just give us a month extra practice/scrimmage time and we are good.
