Would you rather Notre Dame in and Alabama out?

You have to beat someone with a pulse. Their gripe certainly lies with James Madison. Hopefully, this is the impetus for them having to join a conference.

Their gripe is actually with the ACC, which is hilarious and ironic given that Notre Dame refuses to join them.

Whether you like them or not they should be in. They lost 2 games to teams that were highly ranked. Bama should not be in; they lost 3 games including a loss to a horrible Florida State team. Notre Dame would beat Alabama. James Madison should not be in. Another team that is getting screwed is Vandy.

Ole Miss gets to play Tulane again

Nobody wants to see that

A great game would’ve been Notre Dame at Ole Miss

As much as I absolutely despise the Domers, they deserved to be in. Next to Georgia they’re the hottest team in the country.
I’m happy they’re excluded because they usually have a CFP invitation with the weak independents schedule.
This shows that we’ll never get the 12 or 16 best teams In the CFP.

I wonder what change will happen next year to ensure ND doesn’t get left out of the playoffs again.

They lost there two only legit tests of the year. Miss me with the that they are better now crap. Every team that is a contender is better later in the year. Play in a conference end of story

Tulane is in under the rules, but Ole Miss is going to blast them. At least Tulane played a reasonably tough schedule. James Madison lost to Louisville who is decent. After that, James Madison didn't play anybody with pulse. Notre Dame would easily defeat most of the teams in the bracket.

If they did then the ACC would dictate who ND plays in the conference. however, as of now these two guys get to pick what five teams to play in the ACC.

quote:

Notre Dame's football schedule is crafted internally by their athletic department, led by the Athletic Director (currently Pete Bevacqua) and the Football Director of Football Operations, in coordination with their NBC broadcast partner, to arrange home games and select quality opponents

Out of the five ACC teams ND chose to play this year here they are: Miami, NC State, Boston College. Pitt znd Syracuse.

Not exactly a trying schdule there. All the pundits with ESPN were wrong. They all said after ND's two losses at the first of the season that if ND ran the table the rest of the season they would be in the playoffs. Oops.

Have you seen that 2026 ND schedule? Probably 2 teams will be in the top 25 all year. Thats how you get in. Yet as usual SEC teams will have 4 or 5 games against top 20 in conference games.
