Kennesaw State Wins Conference USA Championship In 2nd FBS Season

Massive accomplishment for a program who's first ever season of football was in 2015 and didn't move to to the FBS until last year where they went 2-10.

And they celebrate by going…to the New Orleans Bowl?
Great accomplishment, but if I were an alum I think I’d rather my team play in the FCS playoffs.

I attended the FCS championship game when staying in Chattanooga for work. The town was completely dead, the night of, and the night before. The game was poorly attended, the media barely covered it.
But I’ll let you get back to your ill-informed negativity.

It's subjective, but the handful of people who care are probably going to be OK with one trip to New Orleans compared to multiple games with low attendance and media coverage.
Family and friends probably make up a big part of their traveling party.
